Originally from a small town off a dirt road in Southwest Missouri, Rachel grew up racing go–carts and reading books. Her love affair with digital art began when she received her first camera and computer around the age of seven. Rachel graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.

She worked in photography and graphic design in the Publications Department at MSU for three years before coming to PFI. Rachel’s fur child is her English Mastiff, Molina (named after Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina), and when she’s not at work, she enjoys going backpacking in the Buffalo National River Wilderness area.

Rachel helps guide the creative direction of PFI’s online presence. She’s one of those rare breeds with both an analytical and creative side, which helps PFI constantly strive towards improving their online shopping experience. Whether it’s a picture of a great pair of boots or an email in your inbox, Rachel has a hand in designing the presentation of PFI’s merchandise to help online customers feel as connected as someone coming into the store.

Rachel once had an overnight hiking trip in Colorado turn into two weeks after her car broke down atop a 13,000 ft mountain and she had to hike out to find a pay phone.

Rachel is a bit of a rock hound and usually ends up collecting more rocks than she can carry, but has amassed an impressive collection of gems and minerals.

Rachel loves to make people smile and her collection of silly hats usually does the trick.
